● What is Doxy PEP? Doxy PEP is a preventive treatment using
the antibiotic doxycycline to reduce the risk of bacterial STIs,
such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis.
● When to Use Doxy PEP: Doxy PEP is recommended for individuals
at higher risk of bacterial STIs, such as men who have sex with men
and transgender women, especially those with a history of STIs.
